Bill Berryman: Beginning Watercolor Painting for the Intimidated! Part 1

This class is designed for those that do not understand or have problems dealing with watercolors. Basic techniques will be shown and practiced for the first half of class, then a painting will be created after lunch.

Take Home practice sheets of watercolor techniques that demonstrates running a wash, wet on wet, dry brush, resist, sanding and scraping, mixing colors on the palette and on paper, a finished watercolor painting on 8” x 10” paper and handouts of items used and where to purchase them as well as definitions of terms used in class.

Notes: Wear casual clothing you are not afraid of getting paint on or bring an apron. Participants may want to bring a small towel to place in their lap.
