Raffles of some sort - not sure what just yet
Parking is at 2301 N Minnie Ln across and up the street on the west side at the bank call center (front entrance has a covered portico). They graciously allow us to use the parking spaces on the north side after hours so please be respectful of their property. Workers can be there at any time so do not park under the portico or block any car from being able to leave.
Our address is 2200 N Minnie Ln – you are welcome to drop off and pick up there but please do not park in the drive as it is reserved ([email protected])
Christopher played here the first time in 2024 and we LOVED him. He is funny, crazy, full of energy and wit which shows in his performance and songs. He even has a couple of serious songs - he just wrote one for our Anniversary (how cool!). We are hoping for great outdoor weather but will use the garage if necessary. Bring your chairs, favorite drink and a side dish/dessert if you’d like and set up at 2 for a great afternoon of music.
PLEASE consider taking an Uber/Lyft/Taxi or have a designated driver, especially if you plan on drinking (MUCH cheaper than a DUI)
CHRISTOPHER DALE
Christopher Dale is a singer/songwriter who has a habit of making confessions such as, “I don’t own a boat, but I belong to a boat club” and “I’m in love with a gay waitress”. After taking a “Mexican Minute” to relax on his favorite, south of the border beaches, he’s back on the road for his annual Cross Country Tour and is making a stop at MarGEERitaville for some storytelling, song singing and all-around house concert fun.
"Christopher Dale is infectious and virtuoso. He rocks, he croons, he blows bubbles, he keeps your toes tapping!” - Mike Sager, Writer-at-Large, Esquire Magazine.
Spawning from San Diego’s premier singer/songwriter venue Java Joe’s with the likes of Jewel and Jason Mraz and described as McCartney & John Mayer meet Neil Young & Tom Petty at a Jimmy Buffet concert, Christopher Dale mixes his many Americana/Pop/Trop/Rock influences together to form one uniquely engaging artist. The consummate traveling troubadour, he captures your attention with his honesty, heart and fun-loving energy. Using his remarkable vocal range with a combination of catchy songwriting, candid storytelling, and an unparalleled devotion to entertain the audience, a C. Dale show sticks to you like Super Glue!
Several early-career venue residencies, critically acclaimed CD releases, 11-career San Diego Music Award nominations, and the desire to embrace and support his community, have made him a local favorite. Movie/TV placements and relentless touring have pushed him beyond his homegrown boundaries and into the hearts of people worldwide. Ready or not, #HereComesChristopherDale.
House concert hosts were asked to join in on a national Trop Rock House Concert Festival for the weekend of March 21, 2026 (if possible) to help as a fundraiser for the TRMA Artist Relief Foundation. But as parrotheads we are flexible and any creative participation was encouraged. MarGEERitville can’t host a concert that weekend so we asked Christopher Dale if he would be our concert artist for March 8th to kick this party off!
HERE”S HOW WE WILL HELP:
Bill and I are going to donate $5 for each person who attends this concert in person at our house. In addition we will donate another $5 for any COPA member who donates online using the link below. We have almost 200 members - think of how $5 from each would help out!!! Just send me a note in Messenger or by email (trina_geer1@yahoo,com) and let me know you donated. You can donate any amount (and we encourage you to do more if you can) but we will match $5 once per COPA member. I do not need to know the total amount you donated and I won’t use your name. I just need to know how many donate so that we can send in the correct amount of our matching,
You don’t have to be a member of TRMA but they would love to have you join. You can check all of this out on the link below and you can donate at the links given.
