Embrace the beauty of our Monarch butterflies at the Bilingual Flutter Fiesta. This family-friendly festival celebrates the enchanting world of pollinators in a bilingual setting (English and Spanish). We aim to make the festival more accessible, ensuring everyone can learn, participate, and connect with the importance of preserving these vital creatures.
Columbia Heights is a national leader in the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge, working to protect endangered pollinators that are a critical link in our food chain. Come celebrate our success at this bilingual festival! Bring your lawn chairs blankets, and enjoy a summer evening with all things Monarchs. We even encourage you to dress like a butterfly (or other pollinator)!

? Vendor and Non-Profit Tables: Local vendors and community services will share resources for Monarch butterfly support, all pollinators, and the community.
? Volunteer Opportunities: We invite volunteers to participate in this magical event! Both English and Spanish speakers are needed. Bilingual volunteers ages 14 and above will receive $30 each for their valuable contributions. Contact us at [email protected] to get involved!
