Nottingham Save Our Libraries presents a poetry tour of our under threat community libraries with Henry Normal and friends. No tickets required, free event, all welcome.

Henry is co-writer and producer of some of the biggest hits of British TV and film of recent years. He co-wrote Mrs Merton and The Royle Family amongst others, and produced Gavin and Stacey, Alan Partridge, the Oscar-winning film Philomena, and many more. He has performed his poetry widely across the UK. Henry has written and performed six BBC Radio 4 shows, including A Normal Universe.
Performing at Bilborough Library are Henry Normal, Manjit Sahota, Michelle "Mother" Hubbard and Miriam Khan.
Manjit Sahota is the co-founder of Poets Against Racism.
He has performed on stage and hosted Linton Kwesi Johnson and shared poetry and political debate with rapper Lowkey.
Manjit enjoys the chance to bring his brand of poetry to spark conversation and engage with people from all cultures and backgrounds.
His mission is clear: Love Poetry. Hate Bigotry

Michelle 'Mother' Hubbard is a performance poet, storyteller, script writer, African drummer, cultural arts practitioner, workshop facilitator, and founding member of spoken word open mic event, BlackDrop, and if the Pendrop creative writing group.
Miriam Khan is a storyteller, poet, writer, workshop facilitator and educator living in Nottingham but with proud northern roots. She is a working class, Muslim feminist challenging racism and sexism with her wit and writing everywhere she goes. She has many years experience as a writer and performer and brings a passion for using her writing to give voice to the voiceless.
