With the arrival of Spring what better time to get your bike ready for the road.We’re continuing our series of one hour workshops targeted at those who want to learn a bit more about how their bike works and how to maintain & repair it to keep it running at its best.
This workshop is more general than some of our other more topic specific sessions. We will cover:
* Road Readiness. A front to back check for safety and performance
* Drivetrain tuning and maintenance
* Brake tuning and maintenance
* Tyres & Tubes. Pressures and repair.
Sunday, September 21st from 9:00am to 10:00am at the Bikespace workshop.
We'll spend most of the hour with interactive learning followed by time to work on individuals bicycles. To allow hands-on participation we are limiting the numbers to this workshop to 8 people and their bikes. Please indicate in the comments if you would like to attend and we will confirm attendees for this session.
We have a number of people indicate interest and then not attend the session. Please make every effort to attend if you sign up.
Due to our lack of covered outdoor space there is always the possibility that we have to reschedule if the weather is really uncooperative.
Bikespace is a Wellington City Council initiative allowing us to offer all our services at no cost to participants.
