Bike Rave Ōrākei Basin Edition feat. Dan Aux

Pump your tires, grease your gears and dust off your dancing shoes because Bike Rave is back with the Ōrākei Basin edition, featuring the legendary Dan Aux!

The most fun you can have on two wheels, we’ll be dressing up, strapping sound-systems to our bikes and taking an evening cruise along the fancy new Ōrākei shared path, ending up at a silent party next to the water at Ōrākei Basin.

Your DJ for the evening will be none other than George FM’s own Dan Aux. Dan’s been moving dancefloors for well over a decade - he’s played the country’s biggest festivals and dancefloors, shared the DJ booth with some of dance music’s brightest stars, and has even remixed the legendary Fatboy Slim.

Dan was scheduled to play our last Bike Rave in May, but unfortunately was struck down by COVID at the last moment. Don’t miss Dan Aux playing Bike Rave, the Ōrakei Basin edition.

6:45pm: Registration at Sunhill Carpark, 317 St Johns Road, St Heliers

7:00pm: Ride briefing

7:15pm Sharp: The rolling rave departs

7:30pm / 7:45pm: Party arrives at Ōrākei Basin, party with Dan Aux

9:00pm: Party ends

If it’s raining on the day, the rain date is Saturday 11th February. Tickets are valid for the rain date.

Bike Rave is alcohol free and kids are welcome. There’ll be complimentary Club Mate and fruit to power us through the rave. Tickets are FREE, but strictly limited - grab one now.
