Bikablo® Basics 2-Day Visual Training - Calgary

You spend a lot of time in meetings with your team or clients, but by the end of the conversation, your whiteboard notes look like a hot mess when you put the marker down. You cringe when you see your illegible writing slant down the flip chart. As you listen and capture ideas and information, you know there must be a simpler way to structure content and make sense of everything. After hours in meetings, you want clear, concise documentation that actually highlights key decisions and depicts the complexity of the conversation.

You want people in the room to remember the magic of the discussion they just participated in and recall the important details when they need them. Nobody wants more lists of bullet points to remember. You want a picture that you can easily share and use as a reference to tell the story of your next idea, how a new process works, outline a new strategic direction, or how the team came to a big decision.

The work you do with others is serious, and you know there must be ways to bring more humanity to the way you work; to infuse more fun and lightness into conversations to stimulate new ways of thinking and spark curiosity.

It also helps to have templates and principles to fall back on when you’re unsure how to structure what you’re writing.

In just two days of visualization training with me, you will…

• Learn foundational skills in visualization (how to draw containers, figures, speech bubbles, and icons) on a large scale (for whiteboards or flipcharts).
• Get tips to improve your writing, effectively use colour, and create visual hierarchy.
• Get past the fear of the blank whiteboard or flipchart by learning the bikablo layering approach.
• Walk away with a collection of more than 25 layouts and visual templates you can use in various settings.
• Know what tools you need to get started as a visualizer so that you have everything on hand to confidently capture things visually.
• Discover the unlimited ways you can use visuals and visualization in your professional and personal life.
• Know how to get started building your visualization skills to rapidly advance your skills, even if you’re just a beginner.

Schedules change — I get it. You may transfer your registration to a colleague or friend at any time for no charge, as long as they attend the same workshop for which you were registered. You may also cancel your registration. Cancellations are subject to the stipulations detailed below.

• A full refund (minus processing fees) will be issued if you cancel your registration at least 15 working days before the event start date.

• 10-14 working days or more prior to workshop start date 50% — refund less the costs of refund processing.

• 0-9 working days or less prior to workshop start date — no refund.

TRANSFER POLICY

You may transfer your registration to a colleague or friend at any time for the same workshop on the same date at no cost as long as you notify me of the change.

CANCELLATION OF EVENT

I reserve the right to postpone or cancel this course if there’s insufficient registrations. If this is the case, you’ll hear from me via email (5) five working days before the course start date. In this case, you can choose an alternative date or a full refund. You’re responsible for any other costs incurred.
