Bigfoot Regional Poetry Festival presents How to Annotate Your Poem for Performance, a workshop.
This workshop will help poets annotate their poems for performance by using a method of identifying the narrative arch and using a beat/tone list to create a map for poets to have a successful performance. In this unique workshop, facilitator Elle Hope will help poets discover their voice in written poems by using this structured format: finding the intention of the poem, locating the beats in a poem, choosing a fitting tone, and solidifying your narrative arch.
