About this Event

If This Could Speak: Exploring Persona in Poetry, led by Rieka Speaks, intends to identify personification and persona in both written and spoken word, use performance and voice to embody a character and bring a persona to life, and build community by engaging in collaborative activities and sharing work aloud.

This writing workshop is FREE, and it is taking place at the Hyatt Centric (601 SW 11th Ave) on June 25th at 12:00pm. (If a Venmo/PayPal handle is presented at this event, we encourage folks to tip the workshop leader.)

This event is a part of the Bigfoot Poetry Festival's 2026 workshop series.

This event takes place on the second floor of the Hyatt Centric in the Pettygrove event room. This venue is ADA accessible. There is an elevator to takes folks up a level.
