In our fourth season-cap episode, we're continuing down the path of ass-kicking and dungeon-crawling with a cult classic action-comedy for the ages - John Carpenter's 1986 fantasy-western Big Trouble In Little China!
When itinerant long-hauler Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) makes a stop in San Francisco, he gets together with old friend Wang Chi (Dennis Dun) and joins him in picking up Wang's bride-to-be Miao Yin (Suzee Pai) at the airport. No sooner do they arrive than Miao Yin is kidnapped by a triad gang; and Jack, Wang, and reporter Gracie Law (Kim Catrall) - whose friend was kidnapped alongside Miao Yin - are forced to follow in hot pursuit. The trail leads to them into triad wars, ancient Chinese magic, and mystical battle with supernatural warriors. It's a hell of a good time!
TVs of Terror is excited to bring Big Trouble In Little China to the big screen, as well as some nutty theatrics to the stage. This promises to be a wild and weird romp for all involved! Come early for pizza, popcorn, and snacks. Stay for the movie and a showdown or two!
