Big Trippin' is a high-octane musical collective led by virtuoso drummer and Grammy winner Thomas Pridgen (formerly of The Mars Volta). The band fuses intense, technical drumming with fusion, rock, and experimental elements to create an explosive live experience. Known for its unapologetic, organic energy, Big Trippin' showcases a masterful approach to complex musical landscapes.
Dolphin Hyperspace is a forward-thinking musical collective, often featuring the drumming virtuosity of Justin Brown (known for his work with Thundercat and Flying Lotus). The project navigates a futuristic soundscape, blending complex jazz fusion, electronic textures, and high-energy improvisation. Their live performances are characterized by sonic exploration, aiming to take audiences on a journey through musical "hyperspace."
San Diego based progressive rock eight piece, Fistfights With Wolves blurs the boundaries of classical chamber music and hard rock by weaving epic narratives with their development driven compositions in idioms adjacent to zeuhl and math rock. They will be releasing their fourth LP, Sea Shanties For Future Sailors, at this show.
Band Argument is a San Diego-based trio known for their lo-fi math rock with influences of drum and bass. They are often compared to artists like Palm, Women, and King Crimson.
Tardigrade Collective is a San Diego-based mathcore trio with Ryan Bradley on guitar, Nolan Fewell on drums, and Bradley Nash on saxophone. They are currently working on their sophomore album at Studio West and The Escondido Music And Art Company.
A portion of proceeds will be going towards The Musicians Empowerment Collective and its grants for low income musicians. There will also be a visual artist component to the show featuring different work from artists in the community.
