Big Trees at Wolf Pen Branch Mill Farm

Joe Walker has a passion for big trees and he wants you to feel the same way! Come out to Wolf Pen Branch Mill Farm, River Fields’s gorgeous conservation easement, to help Joe find the most magnificent giants in the woods. You can bet there will be lots of tulip poplar, oaks, beech, and other beauties awaiting you. Bring a tape measure and be ready to compete with others in the group to estimate a tree’s girth and make a guess at what the biggest find of the day will be.

This event is free and open to River Fields members. Registration is required and group size is limited to 25.
