Event:
10K run and a 5K run/walk, allowing participants to represent their favorite Big Ten school with custom school-specific race shirts and bibs.
Event Schedule:
• 7:00 a.m. CT: 10K Race starts
• 8:15 a.m. CT: 5K Race starts [1]
Course Details:
The race begins at Soldier Field and loops through the scenic Grant Park along Chicago's lakefront. [1]
Participant Perks:
• School Gear: Registrants receive a race shirt and bib featuring their chosen Big Ten university's colors and logo.
• Finisher Medal: All participants are awarded a custom Big Ten-themed medal.
• Post-Race Party: Features a lively tailgate-style atmosphere with music, mascots, and food.
Registration & Rules
• Participants can register and find additional information directly on the BTN Big 10K Official Website.
• Time limits: The 10K has a 1 hour, 35 minutes limit (15:00 min/mile pace), and the 5K has a 60-minute limit (19:00 min/mile pace).
• All participants must be at least 8 years old on race day.
