Calling all bakers, tasters, and sunshine lovers! Join us for the Big Summer Cake-Off Picnic, a delicious day out celebrating community, creativity - and, of course, cake - on the field at the Poppleton Social.Got a star bake up your sleeve? We'd love to have your entries for our bake sale, looking to raise money for cancer research, a cause dear to our hearts ❤️
And it's a bake sale with a twist! One lucky baker will have the chance to be crowned **Village Baker 2025** 👑 and win a cash prize! 💸 With judging from some of our favourite local bakers and our own expert team.
Not up for baking but love tasting? You’re in luck! This event was made for cake lovers - as every bake sale is!
We'll be selling £5 tickets** which will allow you to sample 3 cakes of your choosing, and have a cheeky glass of Pimm's while you do it!
**Anyone who bakes can come for £2 with a bakers ticket!
Your ticket includes:
🍰 3 scrumptious cake samples
🍹 A refreshing glass of Pimm’s to get your picnic vibes going
🌼 Entry to a wholesome summer picnic with friends, neighbours, and good vibes.
