Montreal-based drag-pop artist Big Sissy returns to Toronto, joined by local talents R. Flex and Kaleb Fluffy for a gay 'ole time.
Big Sissy is a pro Black, pro-sex, multidisciplinary, drag-pop artist from Black Starr Planet. Known for her signature green hair and unique style of presenting social issues through a camp lens, her music incorporates 80s drum machines and electric guitar with a little bit of new jack swing.
R. Flex crafts art-pop for in-between spaces. Desire blurs, time bends, turning confession into propulsion. Their past EPs FLEX WITH BENEFITS and ONCE UPON A FLEX received critical acclaim from Exclaim!, Bandcamp Daily, and CBC Arts.
Kaleb is a jack-of-all-trades, famous for hosting the award-winning children's show Fay and Fluffy, as well as Toronto's Steers & Queers night. Best known as a curator of joy, he is also the lead singer of the band Peanut Butter and the Jams.
The space does not have a liquor license. Sober drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
