BIG ROAD BAND· 2024· Michelle and Mark Zanoni have been ambassadors and mainstays in the live music scene of Northern Wisconsin (and now Eau Claire, WI) for many years as founding members of Red, Hot and Blue (featuring Cadillac Pete Rahn), Soul to Soul (featuring Mike and Joe Fittante of Hip Pocket), Hip Pocket, Mama’s Little Hippies (featuring Bret and Frisk Miller) and others. This has allowed them to play shows in support of America, Charlie Daniels, Three Dog Night, Jefferson Starship, Devon Allman and Duane Betts, Los Lobos and many more. Big Road has been their primary music vehicle for over 15 years and has allowed them to collaborate with some of the top musicians in Northern Wisconsin and beyond.
After moving to Eau Claire and meeting keyboardist/vocalist J. Sinner Christen, and then later drummer/vocalist Phil Dedman and Guitarist/vocalist Caleb Price (both also of the metal band Wasp Doctor), the decision was made to build a tribute to the great era of rock--the late 60s/70s. They proudly feature: Rolling Stones, Free, Bad Company, Edgar Winter, Grand Funk Railroad and much, much more! Creative sets feature feature high powered vocal harmonies (5 singers), soaring guitars...and the best "footstompin" and sing along music around!
