On Saturday, April 25th, neighbors from Hamline Midway and Union Park are joining forces for what can only be described as the social event of 2026: picking up trash, again!Hamline Midway Coalition, Union Park District Council, the Midway Chamber of Commerce, and the Snelling & University Alliance invite you to grab a trash bag, make new friends, and become part of this epic trash-themed community party (2.0!).
Trash Cleanup: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Gather at whichever site is closest to you!
Team Aldine – converge at Dickerman Park
Team Lexington – rendezvous at Ho Bien Parking Lot
Team La Fond – convene at Hamline Park
Team Selby – assemble in front of Whole Foods
Here’s what you can expect:
Trash cleaning materials provided.
The glory of contributing to “Trash Mountain,” our towering monument of collected garbage bags, destined for pickup by the City of Saint Paul
After-Party: 1:30 – 3:30 PM at Black Hart of Saint Paul
Live music, food trucks, exclusive Trash T-Shirts, and the smug satisfaction of being people who not only picked up litter but had a great time doing it.
The party will wrap up just in time to head to Allianz Field for the soccer game, or stick around and watch it on TV at Black Hart!
Rain or shine, the Big Ole Trash Party is happening.
