Two of America’s most exciting blues bands join forces to present a big evening of energetic music at Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
Gulf Coast Records artist, Backtrack Blues Band, is Florida’s longest running blues band, and is a three-time winner of the Tampa Bay Music Awards for “best blues band.” The group has released eight albums of original music and has played festivals and concerts around the world, appearing with such artists as Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Gregg Allman, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and many more. Featuring stellar guitar, blues harp and vocals, over a seamless rhythm section, these guys deliver Chicago style blues at its finest!
Yates McKendree is one of the brightest young stars in the world of blues music. Hailing from Nashville, this guitarist/vocalist has already won a Grammy award for his work with Delbert McClinton and has performed with John Hiatt and many other blues and rock artists. His crack band delivers an “old soul” blues sound that’s guaranteed to impress!
