The Big Gay Beach Party started in 2017 as a grassroots event where Sarasota's LGBTQ+ and Ally community gathers on North Lido for a day at the beach. In the past, the party has attracted attendees from various parts of Florida and major cities across the US. This is a FREE event for all ages!
Because this section of the beach does not have amenities, you are encouraged to bring everything you need for a self-contained day: umbrellas, beach blankets, chairs, coolers, sunscreen, canopies, water, BYOB, snacks, towels, etc.
OR rent a cabana that will be set up and torn down for you!
Cabanas include two chairs, two beach towels, one beach blanket, mini table, sunscreen, cups, phone charger, and mini locker.
