About this Event
The RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch is the world's biggest bird survey and regularly attracts nearly half a million participants. The records from people counting birds in their gardens provides a vital snapshot of the UK's birds each winter. After an hour of bird counting from 8:00-9:00 and a sausage/vegetarian bap (included), go on a lovely walk in our woodland, play with your family in our natural spaces and or join in our bird ringing session, where you will get chance to see a variety of birds up close. The bird ringing session will run from 9:30-11:30 depending on how many birds are captured and will be led by Colin Mc Shane from Belvide Bird Ringers. This wil be an amazing morning and a rare opportunity not to be missed. Drinks and other breakfast snacks will be available at Woody's Snack Stop. Come for the whole morning or join in one of the activities. Suitable for people of all ages and no expertise required.
To avoid confusion, please note that if you are coming for the whole morning, the cost is £7.00 per person , including a breakfast bap.
If you would like to come for the bird ringing only it is £6.00 for a family/car . The site will close at 12 noon.
