Come and join the original, multi-award-winning family rave at Shrewsbury's hauntingly awesome Buttermarket Cellars!

Don your ghostly garb and shake your bones to stonking tuneage from the legendary Mark Archer (Altern8)!

Party with your kids amidst the bubbles and snow foam, confetti and balloons! There will also be a creepily cool, multi-activity craft area and a baby chill out space for our tiniest ravers. Oh, and of course the licenced bar will be open!

Theme: HALLOWEEN!! Fancy dress is not the law, but is massively encouraged - kids and adults!

IMPORTANT INFO:

Access:

The entrance to the cellars is at street level and there are toilets (incl disabled) on the same level.

Travel & Parking:

There is street parking and the venue is a couple of minutes walk from Shrewsbury train station. Do check Sunday services and local parking rates.

Storage:

We would encourage you to leave buggies at home if at all possible. They are not allowed in the event space as they are a trip hazard. There will be limited buggy-parking areas but these are small and may require the buggy to be carried upstairs. Buggies are left at owners' risk. We recommend you wear babies in slings on the dancefloor.

Facilities:

Toilets and baby-changing facilities are available in the cellars.

What to wear?

The perfect excuse to dress up for Halloween! You don't have to go fancy dress, but we love it when you do!

SAFETY:

• ADULTS REMAIN RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.

• PLEASE NOTE: This venue has low, brick vaulted ceilings, so for this event children should not sit on adults' shoulders please, for obvious safety reasons.

• Accessories operated by small round batteries (eg light up batons) are not permitted at events due to risks associated with circular batteries. Please do not bring these along.

• Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance.

Sound Level:

Music is played at safe levels for little ears (as informed by WHO guidelines) but is loud enough to provide an authentic nightclub experience for all of you. If your little ones are very sensitive to noise you may wish to bring ear defenders, but we find most children don't need them.

Lighting:

This is a club venue with no natural light. Expect low lighting/club lighting rigs and effects but we do not use strobes. Please allow a few minutes for your eyes to adjust when first entering.

Tickets/Groups:

Adult only groups are not admitted. Max 3 children per adult in a family.

If attending as a large party (more than 2 families) please ensure one adult to two children minimum. We will refuse entry to groups where there is inadequate supervision. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email [email protected] for pre-approval before buying tickets.

Each member of your group must have a ticket. Pre-walking infants are free (but ticketed). When purchasing please use the age your child will be at the time the event is due to take place.

Photography/Marketing:

We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes.

What’s the refund policy?

There is a no refund policy but if you are unable to attend you may sell your tickets to someone else.

Just a reminder…

Please be aware that BFLF is designed to provide a family-friendly, authentic club experience and is not a traditional children’s party or disco. There will be no birthday shout outs, DJ requests, games etc. The effect is to give families unity on the dancefloor, all generations, dancing together.

Please note DJs will be announced in advance of each party via social media but may be subject to unavoidable change.
