The rumors are true... Union Pacific Big Boy #4014 will be stopping at the Lake Shore Railway Museum!
Union Pacific has scheduled a brief stop in front of the museum from 11:25am until 11:35am. Come see the locomotive as it passes through on its Eastern Leg of the Coast-to-Coast Tour! #4014 will be passing through on its way to Buffalo, NY.
Please be advised, this is NOT a stop where public access will be allowed to the locomotive - this is a photo stop ONLY. Public access to the locomotive for up-close viewing will be available in Buffalo, NY the following day. All visitors will be required to stay at least 25 feet back from the tracks at all times.
Stay tuned as we finalize plans - updates will continue to be made to this event regarding museum opening times and other details.
NOBODY WILL BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE TRACKS AT ANY TIME. VOLUNTEERS WILL BE POSTED AT ALL SECTIONS OF THE PROPERTY. VIOLATORS OF THE RULES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY.
