Big Band Sunday returns for a New Year on January 18, 2026 from 7-9pm featuring Moonlight Swing Living History Big Band at Carmichael Elks Lodge , 5631 Cypress Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608 Now that the New Year of 2026 is arriving it is time for the 19 musician members of Moonlight Swing Living History Big Band to return to the stage. Take the CHILL out of the winter air as you dance and listen to the band play some of the HOTTEST hits from the library of the Glenn Miller Band of WWII. So guide your sleigh down to this great New Year event and enjoy a Winter Wonderland of great music featuring Miller favorites like In the Mood, String of Pearls, Moonlight Serenade and many more. The fun starts at 7pm so get there early for the best seating. The doors open at 6:30pm and a modest $10.00 donation gets you in the door and parking is free. Beverage service is available for purchase. Let us not forget to honor our brave servicemen and women all over the globe in 2026.
