Co-founded by vocalist and guitarist Scotty Morris and drummer Kurt Sodergren, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has spent over 30 years touring the world, performing more than 3,000 shows and selling over two million albums.
Their rise to national fame began with an appearance in the cult classic film Swingers, introducing the band’s vibrant sound to audiences far beyond Los Angeles. Since then, their music has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Despicable Me, Phineas & Ferb, Friends, and Ally McBeal. The band has also delivered memorable performances on The Tonight Show, Dancing with the Stars, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Super Bowl XXXIII Halftime Show.
Featuring their original core lineup and a powerhouse horn section, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy continues to honor the rich legacy of American swing while introducing the genre to new generations of fans.
