BIG APPLE REC SPORTS CLASSIC DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

ABOUT THE EVENT
The Big Apple Sports Classic is now entering its second year as a premier charity tournament celebrating and centering the LGBTQ+ community.
This is a space created by and for the LGBTQ+ community. We welcome all allies and straight-identifying players who share our commitment to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
REGISTRATION
- Registration opens July 20th at https://www.bigapplerecsports.com/pages/big-apple-sports-classic-26
- Important: Space is limited and will sell out. Teams must have a minimum of 5 registered players to secure their spot. All teams must be fully registered by September 1st.
Registration Instructions:
- NYC Team Captains: Register on July 20th
- Out of Town Team Captains: Register on July 22nd
- Individual Players: Your captain will receive a link for you to register.
DIVISIONS
Mixed No-Sting Division
- 8 players on court
- Minimum 2 WTNB+ players per team on court
- Maximum 4 straight-identifying players per roster
- Maximum 2 USA Practice Team Players
Women, Trans, & Non-Binary (WTNB+) Foam Division
- 8 players on court
- Maximum 4 straight-identifying players per roster
- Maximum 2 USA Practice Team Players
PRICING
- One division: $80
- If you’re playing both WTNB+ and Mixed Division, you will receive half off of the Mixed Division
SCHEDULE
Friday, October 2nd | X:00 PM – X:00 PM
- Player check-in and opening party
Saturday, October 3rd
- WTNB+ Foam: 9:00 AM
- Mixed No-Sting: 2:00 PM
- Saturday Night Party: 9:30 PM
Sunday, October 4th
- Closing Party: TBD!
- Come celebrate Queer community, tournament winners, and help us hit our fundraising goal!
Rules

- High level: we will be playing 6 ball foam and 6 ball no-sting with USA 2025 burden rules and Baden balls.
GYM LOCATION
- We’ll be playing at the beautiful Major R. Owens Health & Wellness Community Center. Right off the 2/3/4/5 trains.
