About this Event
Do you have a bike that needs to be tuned-up to get it ready for summer? Or do you need a bicycle?
Heart Comonos, in collaboration with RollsCooksville, Mississauga Cycles, and Cycling without Age is hosting our second annual Bike Day!
Here's how it works:
If you need a bike, we will be hosting raffles on bike day.
Register here on eventbrite for the 'Bike Giveaway' category to let us know you're coming. Note: this does NOT enter you in raffles, it just helps us plan for the number of attendees we can expect.
When you come to the event on June 15, you will have the chance to enter bike give-away raffles where you might win a gently-used or refurbished bicycle (adult, youth and child sizes available). There is a special category for new-comers to Canada where ten (10) child-sized bikes will be given away. Come early to enter the raffles and stay for other giveawas, refreshments and fun!
If you need your bike tuned-up, we will have tools and bike repair experts on site.
Register here on eventbrite for the 'Bike Fixup' category to let us know you're coming. Note: this does NOT secure an appointment to have your bike tuned up, it just helps us plan for the number of attendees we can expect.
Bike fix-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis so come early with your bicycle to meet with one of our experts. If they can help you with the fix or tune-up, they will, for FREE!
What else is happening on Bike Day?
- The City of Mississauga has generously donated bicyle lights, bells, patch-kits and maps which we will be giving away (while supplies last).
- You can meet with other bike enthusiasts and local organizations like RollsCooksville, Mississauga Cycles, and Cycling without Age to learn more about cycling in the community/ City.
- Meet with local firefighters and tour a firetruck!
- We will have light refreshments available, activities for children, and more!
