Bicentennial is finally open on both sides! Unfortunately, the extended closures have left the course in less than ideal condition. But no worries, that’s what WE are here for!Show up any time after 8am, bring whatever tools you have available and start chopping, whacking, mowing, etc!
We’ll need a few additional W**d-eaters, a push mower or two and all the loppers we can get our hands on! Message me if you can provide any tools!
The course really isn’t that bad, but would really benefit from some touching up. Basically, most of the trees in the fairways have dappling growing around them, a handful of spots have weeds that could be cut, a couple of fairways could stand to be mowed and there are 2 trees down that the city has cut but left in the fairway. We’ll be cutting those up and dragging the pieces off the fairway.
We sure would appreciate any help, even if it’s just to come out and lop a few saplings on a single fairway for 30 minutes.
We plan on working until the job is done, so there is no scheduled end time, but I imagine we’ll be done by 2 pm at the latest if enough folks pitch in.
Afterwards, we might play a round and/or head downtown for the Chili Cook-off!
