Biannual Open Lab

Open Lab is a biannual gathering where Genspace members share their work with each other and the public. Meet other life science enthusiasts and hear about opportunities to get involved with individual and community projects. If you're considering joining the lab, or are just curious to see what we're all about, this is a great time to get to know us.

The Spring Edition of Open Lab will feature our 2023 Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Genspace Scholars:

• Indigo Diehl - Technical Design
• Kiera Derrig - Fine Arts
• Kathryn Werthman - Fashion Design - Knitwear
• Rebecca Dillenberger - Textile Development and Marketing

This program will be live-streamed through Instagram Live, so follow us @genspacenyc!

This is a free event, and light snacks and drinks will be provided. We strongly encourage you to contribute a $10 donation if possible.

6:00PM - Welcome & Mingling

Snacks & drinks on the 2nd floor roof deck (pending weather)

7:00PM - Lab Tour & Presentations

Speakers will include our FIT Genspace Scholars and our

8:30PM - Talks Conclude & Mingling Resumes

9:00PM - Event Ends
