Well it looks like Autumn is properly kicking in now. The forecast for Sunday is rain so it's got to be a no-brainer: come and join us for some musical frivolity at the Elm Tree! They have some excellent beers on tap, a range of other beverages should you prefer and the locals are very accepting and occasionally appreciative of our efforts. We start at 3pm and by the end of our two hours I guarantee you'll have forgotten all about the rain and the approach of Monday.I've got a couple of songs I'd like us to try this time, if you're willing. The first one is Madonna's True Blue (https://msb.me.uk/resources/true-blue-madonna.pdf). It's a really fun song to sing with a strong bridge, simple chords and I think most of you should know it pretty well. Here's a link to YouTube () although in a different key so not much use for practicing. The other one, suggested by Kate, is Heart Of Gold by Neil Young (https://msb.me.uk/resources/heart-of-gold-neil-young.pdf). It's another cracker and budding harmonicists (you know who you are) are welcome to have a bash at the solos. Also this is in the right key so you can play along to the original ().
