We are excited to welcome these panelists, plus a special guest who's shaped the conversation on bi+ representation in ways you’ve definitely felt. Stay tuned!

R.K. Russell (he/him), NFL Legend, Writer, & Advocate

R.K. Russell is an NFL Legend, author, and advocate. He made history as the first active NFL player to come out as bisexual, and his memoir The Yards Between Us explores identity, masculinity, and authenticity in sports. His memoir is being adapted by Sony Pictures Television into a comedy series. As a gifted storyteller, he advocates for narratives that forge connections between competition, culture, and community.

Ronen Rubinstein (he/him), Actor & Musician

Ronen is an actor and frontman of the rock band Nights in Stereo. He was raised in Staten Island, New York. His first breakthrough came by way of Eliza Hittman's 2013 Sundance Film Festival standout, "It Felt Like Love." He is best known for his starring role as T.K. Strand in the Ryan Murphy smash hit "9-1-1: Lone Star," which just ended it's 5 Season run on FOX. In 2023, Ronen received an Honorary Masters Degree from his Alma Mater New York Film Academy. Ronen has brought the same creative force with which he ascended the acting world to Nights In Stereo, helping the band to solidify its brand and fan engagement engine. Their debut EP Second Nature is currently available everywhere.

Aaron Hammersley (any/all), Producer & Advocate

Aaron is a multidisciplinary creative and advocate with an 18-year career spanning film, television, animation, music videos, and commercials. He has contributed to projects at every major film studio and has produced more than 90 Hollywood red carpet premieres, collaborating with a wide array of high-profile talent. Since 2022, Aaron has worked in the Physical Production department of the Live Action Feature division of Walt Disney Studios, helping bring big-budget theatrical releases to life. In 2024, he co-authored with Christina Fialho the first comprehensive industry guide on the portrayal of bi+ characters in film and television—a landmark resource for inclusive storytelling. That same year, he joined the board of the LA Bi+ Task Force, deepening his long-standing commitment to bi+ visibility. Beyond the screen, Aaron is an active voice in the nonprofit space, advocating for LGBTQ+ representation, environmental sustainability, and social equity.

Christina Fialho (she/her), Founder & President of Rewrite the BiLine (Panel Moderator)

Christina is an award-winning social entrepreneur, attorney, and activist who has championed LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights for nearly two decades. A proud bi woman and daughter of an immigrant, she began her industry career by consulting on Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black while exposing abuse in immigration detention as co-founder of Freedom for Immigrants. Since then, she has partnered with artists across media to drive cultural and legislative change. As founder of Rewrite the BiLine, she co-authored with Aaron Hammersley and developed a tool to support authentic bi+ representation on screen. Christina’s work has been featured in major outlets like Newsweek, Rolling Stone, and the LA Times, and she has received honors including the John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award and fellowships from Ashoka and Echoing Green. She serves on the board of It Gets Better.
