Step into an evening of poetic reverence and historical resonance with Bhushangatha — a one-act theatrical performance that brings to life the stirring verses of Kavi Bhushan the legendary poet who had the rare honour of serving in the court of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Through a seamless blend of theatre poetry and oration the performance offers a powerful tribute to Bhushan’s fiery devotion and literary brilliance — echoing the spirit of a time when poetry was both sword and shield.
Conceived directed and performed by Ashwin Afraad Bhushangatha unfolds in the lyrical cadences of Hindi and Brij immersing the audience in an 80-minute journey through verse and valor.
