Get ready for a night where music doesn’t just perform - it musicks, shape-shifts, and flies straight into your heart!

An evening of sheer classical musical brilliance awaits audiences as Vidushi Shubha Mudgal’s flagship creation, Singing into the Future, gets an update in an electrifying new edition: Musicking Into The Future. Musicking Into the Future is a captivating showcase featuring some of India`s most promising young talents - a full-blown celebration of the unstoppable spirit of young artists reimagining tradition, one note at a time.

Meet our young musical superheroes -

Aishani Paul (13, disciple of Vidushi Shatavisha Mukherjee and mentee of Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar) - The youngest Junior Scholar (Vocal) at ITC Sangeet Research Academy and a CCRT awardee, Aishani’s Hindustani vocals are pure lightning in a bottle—calm, electrifying, unforgettable.

Arnav Mokashi (13, disciple of Ustad Shakir Khan) - This Pune-based sitarist is already making waves—first prize at Swarshankar 2024, standout performances at Jashn-E-Sukhan and Swarsetu Gurukul. Arnav blends rigour, joy and imagination with every raga and taan.

Raghav Krishna (14, disciple of Kalaimamani Allam Durgaprasad) - This Singapore-based mandolin marvel has performed at Kalaa Utsavam, HCL Concerts, and the Papanasam Sivan Festival. A gold medallist and Marghazhi favourite, Raghav’s strings sing with soul.

Rakshitha Ramji (14, disciple of Vidushi Archana and Vidushi Aarathi) - A multiple-time Madras Music Academy awardee and solo debutante at Prasanthi Nilayam, Rakshitha’s Carnatic vocals are packed with poise, power, and that x factor that stops time.

And that’s not all! Prepare to also be dazzled by the stellar young accompanists flanking our fantastic four, elevating the evening into something unforgettable -

Abhinav Kandala (Violin) - Accompanist to Rakshitha Ramji

Abhinav Kandala (13, disciple of Vidushi Charulatha Ramanujam and Vidwan Hemmige Prashanth) is proof that you can master two worlds at once. A Carnatic violinist for six years and a vocalist for five, he moves seamlessly between bow and voice. His dedication has already earned him the prestigious CCRT Scholarship—because when Abhinav plays or sings, you know you’re hearing the real thing.

Pradyumna Karpur (Tabla) - Accompanist to Aishani Paul and Arnav Mokashi

Pradyumna Karpur (15, disciple of Dr. Udayaraj Karpur and Padmashree Pt. Suresh Talwalkar) is a tabla prodigy recognised by All India Radio and winner of the Puttashree Award. He has performed across India and accompanied maestros like the Late Pt. Rajeev Taranath, Pt. Venkatesh Kumar and Vidushi Arati Ankalikar.

Shreeraksha Shanbhog (Harmonium) - Accompanist to Aishani Paul

Shreeraksha (18, disciple of Dr. Ravindra Gururaj Katoti) is a harmonium talent and CCRT Scholar who has performed on prestigious stages. An academic high-achiever, she scored 99.52% in SSLC and 96% in PUC.

Siddhanth Anand (Mridangam) - Accompanist to Raghav Krishna and Rakshitha Ramji

Siddhanth Anand (14) is the youngest disciple of the late Guru Karaikudi R. Mani and a 6th-generation musician. A multi-talented mridangam and tabla player, he holds titles like Bala Kala Bharathi and Balapratibha, performing across India and Singapore.

Come witness an evening where the past and future collide, where musicking becomes a high-voltage celebration of imagination and mastery, and the future of Indian classical music unfolds as the next generation grabs the reins.

Musicking Into the Future is a part of Jackfruit, a one-of-a-kind festival for music by children. Supported by Indian Music Experience, Prestige Center for Performing Arts and Arundathi Moorti Philanthropies.
