A Queer Black Scotland ร Exhale.Group collaboration
For Black History Month, join us for an evening of joy, culture, and connection at the African and Caribbean Hall Party, a sober celebration for queer people of colour to share and celebrate our cultures.
What to expect:

๐ฒ A potluck (bring a dish from your culture if you can, we will also provide some food)
๐จ A chill out space with games & craft materials
๐๐พ A vibe emulating the living room and hall parties we had as a kid but for queers!
Come through, bring a dish, bring your joy, and let's celebrate together ๐โค๏ธ๐
Important Information
Food will be served from 6pm so come down early! Performances will kick off at 6:30pm.
Travel support available โ just keep your receipt and bring it along.

Listen Gallery is a sound arts space created to strengthen listening practices. Care is at the heart of how we operate โ we aim to provide an environment free from judgement, prejudice, or exclusion. We commit to creating a space rooted in safety, solidarity, and collective responsibility.
Listen Gallery is a dry space. No alcohol is permitted on site. This policy honours diverse cultural practices, supports individuals in recovery, and prioritises collective safety and care.
Lighting & Seating
We do not use strip or overhead lighting. The space is softly lit throughout. Most seating is stools/on the floor, softened with cushions and carpets. We also have a sofa lounge area.
Health & Safety
Please do not attend events if you feel unwell. If you have flu-like symptoms, we encourage you to test and wear a face covering.
