BHFF NYC Presentation 2: Eastern Western + Q&A w/ Biliana Grozdanova

Eastern Western is a story of a son raised by two fathers, one from the European East and one from the American West, set on the cusp of the 20th century. Deep in the mountains of the American frontier, Igor, an immigrant and recent widower, struggles to raise his two-year-old son in the harshness of winter. When Duncan, an American horse rancher and friendly acquaintance, decides to move his horse-breeding business and family to California, Igor and his son join the wagon train headed West. After a series of encounters with both friend and foe, Duncan is left with a decision that will affect the family’s future forever.

Eastern Western je priča o sinu kojeg odgajaju dva oca — jedan s evropskog Istoka, a drugi s američkog Zapada — smještena na prijelazu u 20. Stoljeće. Duboko u planinama američkog zapada, Igor, imigrant i nedavni udovac, bori se da odgoji svog dvogodišnjeg sina u surovim zimskim uslovima. Kada Duncan, američki uzgajivač konja i njegov prijateljski poznanik, odluči preseliti svoj posao uzgoja konja i porodicu u Kaliforniju, Igor i njegov sin pridružuju se karavanu koji kreće na Zapad. Nakon niza susreta i s prijateljima i s neprijateljima, Duncan se suočava s odlukom koja će zauvijek odrediti budućnost njihove porodice.
