We are thrilled to bring the kosmische guitar bliss of Ajay Saggar’s Bhajan Bhoy to Bishops’ House. Ajay is based in the Netherlands but has a long and illustrious career in music, starting with Preston band Dandelion Adventure back in the 1990s who recorded a session for John Peel.

Ajay’s most recent releases have been on cult psych labels Cardinal Fuzz / Feeding Tube, and have been a deep dive into raga guitar, blissed-out mantras, electronic washes, heavy riffing and deep spaced-out drone. We can’t wait for the 16th century beams to levitate!

This is going to be a stunning evening for lovers of psych, bliss-out and drone.

Avant-rock tunesmiths from Sheffield. Slow Galley’s Drift offer immersive layers of fuzzy guitar and ambient washes of sound over songs of love and forgetting.

Doors are 7pm with music starting at 7.45pm. We recommend getting to the venue in advance of 7:45pm as the space is intimate and manoeuvring around can be difficult once the gig starts. You are welcome to bring your own liquid refreshment as we do not have a bar.
