Join us Sunday August 13th from 11am-2pm as we return to one of our favourite inner west haunts, The Factory Theatre, for a Carnival themed family rave!
Your ringmasters for the day will be none other than local legends Peewee Ferris & Archie and hosted by MC Slice!
Peewee Ferris - One of Australia's most influential DJs and producers, Peewee Ferris has been instrumental in the Australian and international dance movement for well over twenty years. He has headlined many major Australian dance events, including the Big Day Out (1996, 1997, 2000, 2004, and 2009), Future Music Festival, Ministry of Sound Australia, Summadayze and Australian tours of The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Cream.
Archie - Archie is a well known DJ who has been working around clubs and events since the mid 90's. Ranking at #5 for the Australian In The Mix Top 50 Awards in 2007 & again in 2008, Archie is well known for his mixing and scratching skills which have set him apart within the music scene.
What can you expect?
Quality tunes: house/rave/trance/old skool/classics.
Dancefloor, bubbles, glitter cannons, balloons and parachute dance finale.
Licensed bar.
Kids craft tables with mural and themed crafts.
Face painting stall thanks to Fantasy Art.
Snacks & hot food available.
Toddler play area with ballpit, tents and tunnels and baby chillout space with mats and baby activities.
Child safe LED themed performances from Fire Performance Sydney.
Dressing up in your best Carnival/Circus themed costume is optional but highly encouraged!
Parents remain responsible for their children at all times.
Who should come?
For families with younger children (8s and under) though all ages are welcome. Adults are not admitted unless accompanied by a child. A max of 3 children per adult. If there are more than 4 adults per child in your group please email [email protected] for pre-approval before buying tickets.
Tickets
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred/sold on to waiting lists. Each adult (18+) and child (1-17) in your group must have a ticket. Pre-walking infants are free but ticketed.
Yep, it's a rave ?
Please be aware that events are standing/dancing with some seating, club lighting rigs (no strobes) are used and events are busy with around 5-600 people at each party - which helps create the rave ambience.
Each event is stewarded and risk assessed in advance.
Volume is set at a safe level for children and carefully monitored throughout the event.
We may photograph or film small parts of the event and by entering you are giving your permission for these to be used for BFLF promotion purposes.
