BFL Presents Newport Beach Fest at Fort Adams - Labor Day Weekend

Beach Football League is bringing a new wave of football to Newport on Labor Day Weekend!

Founded by former New England Patriot and two-time Super Bowl champion Tully Banta-Cain, BFL is the world’s first professional football league played on sand, combining live sports, beach culture, entertainment, youth programming, and premium brand experiences into one high-energy event format.

This Labor Day Weekend, BFL comes to one of Rhode Island’s most iconic waterfront venues for Newport Beach Fest at Fort Adams — a two-day sports and entertainment experience built around a temporary sand football field inside Fort Adams State Park.

Across the weekend, guests can expect beach football matchups, youth skills programming, one-on-one competitions, exhibition games, music, halftime moments, food and beverage vendors, sponsor activations, community partners, and special guests to be announced.

Saturday, September 5 will focus on the community side of the weekend, with youth beach football programming, skills stations, one-on-one competitions, exhibition matchups, sponsor activations, and music.

Sunday, September 6 will serve as the main event day, featuring youth showcase moments, one-on-one finals, BFL exhibition programming, the Newport vs. Boston beach football matchup, halftime entertainment, and closing entertainment.

Newport Beach Fest is designed to bring together athletes, families, football fans, veterans, local brands, visitors, and the Newport community for a new Labor Day Weekend tradition at Fort Adams.
