PRESENTER: VICKY HOCHMAN MS, BC-DMT

BIO: Vicky Hochman is a board-certified dance/movement therapist specializing in body-based approaches to mental health and healing. With a trauma informed and person-centered lens, Vicky facilitates therapeutic spaces where individuals can access their inner wisdom, express their stories through movement, and cultivate a deeper mind-body connection.

Vicky has worked in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, forensic facilities, behavior clinics, schools and memory care. She has developed and implemented dance/movement therapy programs to improve therapeutic outcomes for specialized populations. She teaches and supervises graduate students and therapists working toward licensure and has a small private practice.

Through her work, Vicky integrates movement, creativity, and psychotherapy to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and embodied resilience. Vicky is passionate about using dance/movement therapy to create meaningful therapeutic connections, empowering individuals to find new ways of expression and healing beyond words.
