The Milton Friedman Society and Students for Humanity are pleased to invite you to the first event of this academic year: "Beyond the Veil: Iran and the Legacy of Mahsa Amini", featuring Pegah Moshir Pour, activist for human and digital rights, Farian Sabahi, Senior Researcher in Contemporary History and Matteo Perego di Cremnago, Undersecretary at the Italian Ministry of Defense.
Exactly two years after the M**der of Mahsa Amini by the moral police of Teheran, we believe it is necessary to commemorate her legacy and explore the current face of Iran.
Who was Mahsa Amini and what does her memory stand for? Is there a hope for a more liberal Iran in the future? What is the role of the country within the geopolitical landscape?
