Beyond the Textbook: Biosciences Education in the Digital Era

What does Biosciences education need beyond the textbook?
How can we make learning more active, connect teaching with real-world problems, and use digital tools and AI meaningfully in the classroom?
These are some of the questions we will explore together during “Beyond the Textbook: Biosciences Education in the Digital Era”, taking place on 13–14 November 2026 in Yerevan.
This FEBS-sponsored Education event organized by the Armenian Association of Biochemists is designed for educators, early-career researchers, and PhD students interested in advancing Biosciences education and exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
Over two days, the programme will bring together plenary talks, interactive group discussions, and hands-on workshops, creating opportunities not only to learn but also to exchange experiences, develop ideas, and build new collaborations.

Participation fee: 5000 AMD for PhD students, junior researchers, researchers (up to 40 years old) and 7000 AMD for academics and educators.
