Beyond the Picket Line: Peacemaking through Nonviolent Resistance and Mutual Aid
Have You: "Shown up" to protests or rallies, but want to do more; Worried about the effectiveness of your resistance; Wanted to resist State violence, but been afraid of retaliation; Desired to explore the moral, ethical, and spiritual dimensions of resistance in more depth? Good News; we have too! Join us every other Tuesday in September-November for Beyond the Picket Line: Peacemaking Through Nonviolent Resistance and Mutual Aid. Together we will explore resources that examine the theoretical, ethical, and practical dimensions of living resistance; put resistance into action through role play and skill building exercises; and eat a simple meal together, because peace and justice begins around the dinner table.
