Join Orchestra Nova for Beyond the Notes, a free afternoon of music and conversation featuring new works by Orchestra Nova violinist Ash Hanna and Sydney composer Phillip Faddoul, alongside a selection of other orchestral pieces.
Led by Musical Director Kevin Young and Assistant Conductor Stephen Aveling-Rowe, this informal performance will offer a glimpse into the rehearsal and development process for Orchestra Nova. The afternoon will conclude with a Q&A with the composers, providing an opportunity to learn more about the ideas and creative process behind the works.
We look forward to seeing you at the Harold Lobb Hall, Newcastle Conservatorium of Music on Saturday 4 July at 2:00pm. Entry is free and all are welcome.
