This curator-led walking tour around our main galleries (The People’s Republic, Wondrous Place, History Detectives and The Great Port) will explore stories and objects on display which reveal the influential impact local women have had on the city and our society over time. From grass-roots political activists, public health pioneers, musical firsts, sporting stars, and medical marvels, we have them all. Join Kay Jones, Lead Curator of Urban and Community History, to find out more. This event is part of our celebration of International Women’s Day 2026.

There are 12 tickets available for this event, which is a walking tour around several galleries.
Please meet in the Museum of Liverpool atrium at 1.45pm for a 2pm start.
