Beyond the Brief: Rapport, Reputation, and Persuasion in the Age of AI
Join us in the Jury Assembly Room at the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona for a candid conversation with distinguished members of the federal judiciary including Judge Bridget S. Bade (Ninth Circuit), Judge Roopali H. Desai (Ninth Circuit), Judge Krissa M. Lanham (Dist. of AZ), and Chief Judge Madeline C. Wanslee (Dist. of AZ Bankruptcy Court) as they discuss the qualities that make lawyers effective advocates in an increasingly technology-assisted profession.
While artificial intelligence continues to reshape the practice of law, credibility, professionalism, judgment, and candor remain at the heart of effective advocacy. Our panelists will share their perspectives on what makes an advocate persuasive, how lawyers build trust with the court, and the skills that will continue to distinguish exceptional attorneys and law clerks in the years ahead.
We will also be serving gelato after the panel concludes!
This is an incredible opportunity for law students, judicial clerks, and young attorneys to gain practical insight into what judges value most, common pitfalls to avoid, and how to build a career marked by professionalism, integrity, and impact.
