Beyond the Bridge Literacy Workshop

The Beyond the Bridge Literacy Workshop is a family-centered event designed to support children’s reading growth while empowering parents with practical tools they can use at home. This interactive workshop brings together parents, educators, and community partners for a meaningful literacy experience.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in engaging, hands-on learning activities and play that encourage a love of reading and learning. While children are engaged, parents will receive helpful literacy information, simple reading strategies, and take-home resources to support their child’s learning at home.

Families will also have the chance to visit community vendor tables offering literacy materials, educational resources, and family support services. Giveaways and take-home materials will be available throughout the event to ensure families leave feeling supported, informed, and confident.
