Beyond the Book, a small group sponsored by United Women in Faith, invites you to gather with them in the Library for food, fun and fellowship on the fourth Saturday of each month. They will meet on October 26 at 10:00 a.m. to discuss "What Makes You Come Alive: A Spiritual Walk with Howard Thurman," by Dr. Lerita Coleman Brown. Known as the godfather of the civil rights movement, Howard Thurman championed silence, contemplation, common unity and nonviolence as powerful dimensions of social change.
