Beyond the Bobber: FREE Fishing with NYSDEC

Discription:

This FREE event is for anglers to learn advanced techniques beyond live bait and bobber fishing. Participants will need to register for one of two options, see below.

Registration is required.

Option 1: All Species

Fishing small artificial baits for panfish and a variety of species.

Option 2: Bass Fishing

Wacky Rigging Soft Plastic worms for bass.

Space is limited to 8 participants/option (16 total)

If Eventbrite signups fail to show up on day of event, walk-ups may be accepted if space is available*

Minimum qualifications:

Participants should have some background in fishing, and ideally will be proficient in basic skills such as casting and knot tying.
