In the beyond the basics sourdough class we focus on troubleshooting bread issues and inclusions. We will dive deep into the challenges that can arise when working with sourdough bread and how to overcome them. Here are some topics that will be covered in this class:
1. Troubleshooting common bread issues: We will discuss common problems such as dense crumb, lack of rise, overproofing, and uneven shaping. You will learn how to identify these issues and make adjustments to achieve the desired results.
2. Inclusions in sourdough bread: We will explore the creative possibilities of adding inclusions such as nuts, seeds, dried fruits, herbs, spices, and cheese to your sourdough bread. You will learn how to incorporate these ingredients seamlessly into your dough for added flavor and texture.
3. Advanced bread shaping techniques: We will focus on advanced shaping techniques to create visually stunning loaves with inclusions. You will learn how to evenly distribute inclusions throughout the dough and shape them into beautiful designs.

What is included?
Each participant will get to shape and bake their own loaf of bread during class. We will have different inclusions that you can add into your loaf during the class so that you can get hands on practice with inclusions! The class with also feature samples and beverages.
What is the refund policy?
We will not be able to offer refunds on this class due to the overhead that is required for baking and producing the bread. Please be mindful when placing your ticket orders.

Do I need to bring anything? Just yourself but if you’d like, an apron to keep yourself clean! We will have everything you need to make your loaf.
