Beyond the Basics: Connection Clinic

Connection is like vibes - it's that 'thing' that happens during a dance you can feel but you can't quite describe. It's that feeling when you, your partner, and the music are all working together to create movement that is spontaneous, fun, on-beat, in-sync, and that feels really dang good. It's the conversation between two people that is not a prescribed set of moves. It's the give and take, the ooey gooey filling in the cupcake. It's being so present that you're not just dancing because there is music, but you're dancing with the music.

Like I said, it's a total vibe and we are going to explore it for three glorious weeks with various exercises and applications within lindy hop, charleston, and 6-count moves.

Don't let the word clinic bore you, get ready to get a little weird, have fun, and walk away with tools to help your partner dancing feel amazing.

It's preferred that you are familiar with the swing out, charleston basic, and 6-count with triples.
