With the June 2 primary approaching, Black Workers in the Inland Empire face a familiar question: do we invest our energy in electoral politics, or look beyond it? This space is for honest, grounded conversation not speeches or endorsements. Together, we’ll weigh the pros and cons of voting as a tool for change, name the limits of electoral strategies, and explore alternatives: mutual aid, labor organizing, direct action, cooperative economics, and other ways we build and wield power in our communities.
